William P. "JACK" Hunter became the 140th Veteran of the 384th to sign the wing panel at the Alabama Military Museum, Athens Alabama on 18 November 2016..

Hunter was assigned to the 547th Bomb Squadron as a Tail Gunner (without crew) in January 1945. He flew 25 combat missions with various crews before the end of the air war in Europe.
