Charles Covell became the 46th Veteran of the 384th Bomb Group to sign the wing panel on 8 August 2012, in Bloomfield, Michigan.

Covell was assigned to the 545th Bomb Squadron as the Radio Operator of the Lloyd Peters Crew in July 1944. He completed his combat tour in November 1944.

Panel hosts for this signing event were Dennis and Patti Bielskis.
