Jack Carella became the 57th Veteran of the 384th Bomb Group to sign the wing panel on 23 August 2013, in Holmes, New York..

Carella was assigned to the 544th Bomb Squadron in August 1944 as the Tail Gunner of the Stanley Gilbert Crew. He completed his combat tour in February 1945.

Panel Host was Ray Lustig, assisted by Susan Taylor.
