Jerry Bryson became the 113th Veteran of the 384th Bomb Group to sign the wing panel on 24 February 2015 at his home in Edmonds Washington.. Present at the signing were his wife, June, daughters Sharri and Charlene, son-in-law James Humphryes, grandson Jimmy, and neighbors Al and Judy Rustad.

Jerry was assigned to the 546th Bomb Squadron in July 1944 as navigator of the Frank Mead Crew. During his combat tour, he was selected for training as a Gee-H navigator, after which he flew only on lead aircraft, often with other groups. He was cited for his bravery and accuracy in his award of a Distinguished Flying Cross. He completed his tour of duty in January 1945.
