Ev Barnes became the 82nd Veteran of the 384th Bomb Group to sign the wing panel on 21 January 2014 in Cape Coral, Florida..

Barnes was assigned to the 1140th Military Police Company as a motorcycle officer in 1943, and had a hand in arranging for his twin brother Ed (who also signed the wing panel on this tour of Florida) to transfer to the 1140th MP Co. so they could serve together.

Panel host for this event was Fred Preller, assisted by Sal Scalia.
