Additional Information	Date of Birth: 5 October 1925 Borgeson was knocked unconscious by the force of the explosion that tore his B-17 apart on 30 November 1944, and remained in the tail section as it plummeted to earth. He survived, awakening three days later in a German field hospital. Promoted to Sergeant effective 20 November 1944 per AAF Station 106 Special Orders #229 dated 20 November 1944.
