Moved to Rapid City, South Dakota (for modification) on 22 February 1943 and then to Kearney, Nebraska on 12 March 1943. Assigned to the 336th Bombardment Squadron, squadron code ET*A, 95th Bombardment Group at Alconbury, Station 102, UK on 8 April 1943; then to Framlingham, Station 153, on 12 May 1943 (The 390th Bombardment Group where it flew 4 missions). Transferred to the 544th Bombardment Squadron, squadron code SU*E, 384th Bombardment Group at Grafton Underwood, Station 106 on 10 July 1943. Transferred to the 2nd Base Air Depot (2 BAD), Little Staughton, Station 127 on 5 April 1944. Returned to the US at Tinker AAF, Oklahoma on 6 June 1944.
